Excellence in Education

SFU’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is an intense and challenging program that provides you with an outstanding foundation for your career in business. It is tailored to your needs so that you can create the future you really want.

Constantly innovating, SFU's Beedie School of Business has an exciting new campus at Surrey in addition to the main Burnaby campus. We offer new courses focusing on topics such as innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability and social enterprise.

You will find the same high quality education at both campuses, with some differences you will appreciate. For example, students entering the first year of the Business program at the Surrey campus will begin in one of the following integrated programs: BusOne, Explorations, or Science Year One. Each of these programs consist of required and elective courses typically taken over two semesters of full-time study and are designed to impart a breadth of knowledge to enhance each student’s business education.

In your third and fourth years of study, you can select one or more areas of concentrations, which include: Accounting (Honors), Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Management Information Systems, Management Science and Marketing.

SFU's Beedie School of Business is all about choice.

  • Specialize in one or more of eight different concentrations in business.
  • Complete a program that is in the Beedie School of Business, or you can do joint programs that combine business and programs in other faculties.
  • Participate in the co-op work experience program to gain real world business experience.
  • Extra-curricular opportunities will provide that extra challenge and fun that comes from unique experiences outside the classroom through clubs, competitions, mentorships and athletics.
  • Choose when and where to take your courses - our programs are flexible to give you options that helps you define your opportunities.

The program lets you design these experiences to suit your interests, goals and lifestyle, and provides the support and guidance you need along the way. You graduate with exceptional business expertise and the confidence to forge a successful business career.
