Software Systems – Current SFU Students
Located exclusively on the state-of-the-art Surrey campus, SFU’s Software Systems program is open to well-qualified SFU students from other programs.
Current SFU students
Current SFU students who wish to transfer from another SFU program into Software Systems will need to complete three qualifying courses with a minimum overall average of 2.50.
The qualifying courses can be either:
2 CMPT + 1 MATH OR 1 CMPT + 2 MATH, chosen from the following:
CMPT courses: 128 OR 130 OR 135, 150, 225, 250, 276.
MATH courses: 150 or 151, 152, 240 or 232; MACM 101, 201.
Complete the Online CRGPA Application Form
and attach a copy of your unofficial advising transcript. Read the application instructions found at the bottom of the application form carefully. Make sure you select Software Systems Major when choosing your program.
Drop off your completed application form and unofficial transcript to the Computing Science main office at Surrey (Galleria 4, SUR 4100) or Burnaby (ASB 9971), or to any Student Affairs Coordinator.
Already a Computing Science student? Simply visit one of our Student Affairs Coordinators to change your program to Software Systems.
