Directions From Vancouver

By Transit

Transit is the easiest way to get to SFU Surrey from Vancouver, as the campus is located on the Expo line, 45 minutes away from Waterfront Station. Disembark at the Surrey Central station. SFU Surrey is located in Central City (look for the large office tower to the south of the station).

By Car

We encourage you to take transit to SFU Surrey. If you must drive, follow these directions.

  1. Get onto Hastings Street and drive east
  2. Remain on Hastings through East Vancouver and turn RIGHT onto the Highway 1 eastbound ramp
  3. Continue on Highway 1 and cross over the Port Mann Bridge
  4. Take exit number 48 shortly after the bridge (108th Avenue/152nd Street exit)
  5. Keep right on the off ramp and merge onto 152nd Street southbound
  6. Drive past the 108th Avenue turnoff and continue up to the 104th Avenue intersection
  7. Turn right on 104th Avenue and continue westbound to King George Blvd
  8. Drive across King George Blvd and turn LEFT on University Drive
  9. Proceed along University Drive until you reach 102 Avenue.  Go through the lights at 102 Avenue.
  10. After crossing 102 Avenue make your first LEFT into the parking complex and proceed up to P3, P4, or P5.  Visitor pay parking is located on level P5.
