Parking at SFU Surrey
SFU does not own or manage the parking lots located at the Central City Mall, home of the Surrey campus. Only vehicles with valid paid parking are authorized to park near campus.
Mall parking is for retail shoppers only. There is no free parking for SFU Surrey. The three hour time limit for parking is for shoppers only. SFU students and visitors do not qualify in this category of parking.

Visitor Parking
Visitor parking is available on level P5 of the parkade for guests coming to SFU Surrey for lectures and special events. Parking costs $1 per hour, or $5 for the entire day from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Late night rate is $4 from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
Signs are posted indicating the pay parking area on P5. The pay meters are in the elevator vestibule on P5. The pay meters accept coins or credit cards. There is also a Pay By Phone option. Instructions are posted at the pay meter.

Student Paid Parking
SFU Surrey has been provided a limited number of parking stalls for students.
Parking for students is assigned via lottery each semester.
Apply for the parking lottery online prior to the beginning of each semester at http://www.surrey.sfu.ca/parkinglottery
Your student number and SFU email ID are required fields on the application form.
Note: You must be enrolled in courses during the current semester at Surrey campus to qualify for parking. All applications will be checked and any submissions that do not meet these qualifications will be eliminated from the lottery.
Applications are accepted for only one vehicle per driver. If a vehicle is entered in the lottery by multiple applicants, all those entries will be eliminated from the lottery.
Successful applicants will be notified by email prior to the beginning of the semester and will be directed on where, when and how to pay for parking.
Parking costs $75.00 per semester.
Parking is restricted to levels P3 and P4 in the West Parkade at Central City Mall and the Rooftop parking. Vehicles may be subject to a fine or towing if parked outside the designated parking areas.

Evening/Weekend Student Paid Parking
For students taking classes in Continuing Studies, Lifelong Learning or part-time diploma and degree programs which are scheduled after 5:00 p.m. weekdays or any time on weekends, pay parking is available by lottery each semester.

Your student number and SFU email ID are required fields on the application form.

For students that are unsuccessful in the lottery there are several Translink Park n Ride locations available. Staff Paid Parking
Parking is available to full-time faculty and staff through the Facilities Services office, extension 27496. Parking is typically valid for one calendar year (May 1 to April 30); however, arrangements can be made for partial year options or by the semester.
