Bake Sale
Visit SFU Surrey’s Dale B. Regehr Grand Hall to purchase a snack and coffee. Bring your own mug because for $2 we’ll fill it with coffee and add a candy cane stir stick. More info:  Chris Oatman (cco2@sfu.ca)

BUS 443 Product Market (10:00am to 3:30pm):  Senior students with the Beedie School of Business support Market on the Mezz through a marketing-for-new-ventures course that tasks students with developing, marketing and selling a new product.  Come and check out the photo booth, buy a t-shirt, grab a snack, and much more!  Treats include baked goods, lemonade with flavoured ice cubes, cotton candy, chocolate almonds, and nutritional drinks!

Silent Auction (10:30am to 3pm):  will include a variety of items and gift baskets donated by local businesses and members of the SFU community available for auction. Used Book, DVD, and CD Sale (10:30am to 3:30pm):  Avid readers: clean out your bookshelves to make room for more books! Donate your paperbacks, bestsellers, mysteries, romances, cookbooks, children’s books, CDs and DVDs to our Surrey United Way Book Sale. Donation boxes have been placed in the kitchens on Podium 2, Podium 3 and Galleria 4; by the SIAT grad mail station; and in staff work room areas in Continuing Studies, Business, FASS, Education, Computing Science and Mechatronics. We respectfully request that textbooks and manuals not be donated.

BusOne Student Market (2:30pm to 5:30pm):  featuring the works of first year Business students.  Come and satisfy your sweet tooth and get some Christmas shopping done!  Just a few of the items available include:

  • baked goods such as holiday cupcakes, candy apples and waffles
  • quench your thirst with hot chocolate, bubble tea and coffee
  • come and get your picture taken with Santa or take pictures with props in the photo booth
  • buy hand-crafted Christmas cards and paper flower bouquets
